1. Installation

• Ensure the Smart Storm unit is switched OFF.

• Securely attach the Smart Storm Tip to the handpiece until properly seated.

• Check for firm attachment before operation.

2. Preparation

• Fill the unit with recommended air polishing powder.

• Adjust air pressure and water flow as per manufacturer guidelines.

3. Clinical Use

• Hold the tip at approximately 60°–90° angle to the tooth surface (depending on area).

• Maintain a working distance of 3–5 mm from the tooth surface.

• Use continuous sweeping motion; avoid staying in one area for too long.

• Do not direct the spray toward soft tissues for extended periods.

4. Post-Procedure

• Turn off the unit.

• Remove and discard the used tip (single-use).

• Clean and disinfect the handpiece according to protocol.
