1. Installation
Ensure the Smart Storm unit is switched OFF.
Securely attach the Smart Storm Tip to the handpiece until properly seated.
Check for firm attachment before operation.
2. Preparation
Fill the unit with recommended air polishing powder.
Adjust air pressure and water flow as per manufacturer guidelines.
3. Clinical Use
Hold the tip at approximately 60°–90° angle to the tooth surface (depending on area).
Maintain a working distance of 3–5 mm from the tooth surface.
Use continuous sweeping motion; avoid staying in one area for too long.
Do not direct the spray toward soft tissues for extended periods.
4. Post-Procedure
Turn off the unit.
Remove and discard the used tip (single-use).
Clean and disinfect the handpiece according to protocol.
