Product Highlights
  • Product name: Anatomic gingival former With Case
  • Price: Inr 4990
  • Dimensions: 110mm x 110mm x 40mm
  • Weight: 100 gram
  • Usage: Reusable dental moulding tray
  • Purpose: Creates customised gingival cuff formers

The Anatomic Gingival Former With Case is designed to help dental professionals fabricate customised gingival cuff formers for implant restorations. It features an oval tray with multiple mould cavities arranged to accommodate different restoration sites and emergence profile requirements.

Each cavity incorporates a pre-formed central guide hole to help position a compatible temporary abutment and laboratory analogue. Flowable composite resin is added around the abutment within the selected cavity and light-cured to create a customised gingival cuff former.

The anatomical moulding design helps shape the emergence profile to suit the intended restoration, supporting soft-tissue contour management and helping preserve the papilla when appropriately planned. Made from medical-grade silicone, the flexible mould is designed to facilitate removal of the cured resin former.

With its compact 8 × 16 cm oval design, the tray offers an organised and convenient solution for chairside or laboratory use. It is intended for repeated use only when the material and manufacturer's instructions permit the required cleaning and sterilisation method.

  • Anatomical Mould Design: Supports customised gingival cuff formation for implant restorations.

  • Multiple Mould Cavities: Accommodates different restoration sites and profile requirements.

  • Central Guide Holes: Help position compatible temporary abutments and laboratory analogues.

  • Flowable Composite Compatibility: Designed for moulding with suitable flowable composite resin.

  • Flexible Silicone Material: Facilitates removal of the cured gingival cuff former.

  • Soft-Tissue Contour Support: Helps create a planned anatomical emergence profile.

  • Reusable Design: Intended for reuse subject to validated cleaning and sterilisation instructions.

  • Compact Oval Tray: Measures approximately 8 × 16 cm for convenient handling and storage.

  • Step 1: Preparation

Select the mould cavity that matches the intended restoration site and desired emergence profile. Position a compatible laboratory analogue through the pre-formed central guide hole from the underside of the tray.

    Step 2: Abutment Placement

Attach a compatible temporary abutment, such as titanium or PEEK, to the laboratory analogue. Ensure it is correctly aligned and seated within the selected cavity.

    Step 3: Composite Application

Apply suitable flowable composite resin around the temporary abutment to fill the designated mould cavity. Keep the composite away from the abutment–analogue junction to avoid obstructing the connection.

    Step 4: Light Curing

Light-cure the composite according to the resin manufacturer's recommended curing time and instructions.

    Step 5: Removal

Carefully remove the temporary abutment and cured gingival cuff former from the analogue. Flex the silicone mould gently if needed to release the formed component.

    Step 6: Finishing and Polishing

Trim and polish the formed gingival cuff as required. Check that the screw-access channel is clear and that the component fits the intended restoration.

    Step 7: Cleaning and Reprocessing

Clean and reprocess the tray according to the manufacturer's validated instructions before reuse. Do not assume the tray is autoclavable unless this is confirmed by the manufacturer.
