Prepare Post Space Complete root canal treatment. Remove gutta-percha to desired depth using appropriate drills, maintaining apical seal. Shape the post space according to the matching post drill size. Select & Try-In Post Choose the correct diameter and length of fiber post. Verify passive fit without forcing it into the canal. Clean & Dry Canal Rinse the post space with saline or distilled water. Gently dry with paper points (do NOT overdry). Surface Treatment of Post Clean the post with alcohol. Apply silane coupling agent if recommended. Cementation Apply self-etch/self-adhesive resin cement inside the canal using a lentulo spiral or dispensing tip. Coat the post with the same cement. Insert the post slowly into the canal, allowing excess cement to escape. Light Cure Hold the post in position and light-cure for 20–40 seconds (as per cement manufacturer instructions). Core Build-Up After curing, build the core using composite resin. Shape and prepare the tooth as required.
