Its main roles are to safeguard the implant site from debris or infection and to shape the surrounding gum tissue appropriately before final prosthetic restoration (crowns, bridges, dentures) is attached.

  • How to use: Seat the protective cap onto the implant platform by hand or with the appropriate driver until fully seated. Remove at time of impression or prosthesis placement. Do not overtighten beyond recommended torque.
