Hand-tighten gently; do not overtighten to avoid damage to the internal connection. Confirm that the soft tissues adapt properly around the cap. Healing Phase Allow tissues to heal as per clinician’s protocol (generally 1–4 weeks). Instruct patient to maintain good oral hygiene around the healing cap.
