Step 1: Pre-Procedure

Sterilize the separator using steam autoclave before use.

Check the screw mechanism for smooth operation.

Select the appropriate model (anterior or posterior) as required.

Step 2: Preparation

Isolate the treatment area using cotton rolls or a rubber dam.

Gently retract soft tissues if necessary.

Step 3: Placement

Position the separator between the target teeth with the arms resting on the proximal surfaces.

Slowly tighten the screw mechanism until slight separation is achieved.
