1. Indications for Use

• Intended for removal of existing root canal filling materials such as gutta-percha and sealers.
• Used for canal shaping during endodontic retreatment procedures.

2. Instructions for Use

• Establish straight-line access to the root canal prior to instrumentation.
• Select the appropriate file size according to canal anatomy and clinical requirement.
• Operate the file using a gentle in-and-out (pecking) motion.
• Use recommended motor settings as specified for the file system.
• Irrigate thoroughly between each file to remove debris and softened filling material.
• Continue sequential instrumentation until complete removal of filling material and desired canal shaping is achieved.

3. Recommended Motor Settings

• Speed: 300–500 RPM
• Torque: 2.0–3.5 Ncm (or as recommended by the manufacturer)

4. Precautions

• Do not force the file or apply excessive apical pressure.
• Maintain adequate irrigation and lubrication during use.
• Discard files showing signs of wear, deformation, or unwinding.
• Always use rubber dam isolation during the procedure.

5. Sterilization

• Files may be supplied sterile or non-sterile depending on the manufacturer.
• If non-sterile, autoclave at 134°C for 3–5 minutes before use.
• Single-use is recommended to reduce the risk of file fatigue and separation.

6. Storage

• Store in a clean and dry environment.
• Protect from moisture and corrosive substances.
