Select Matrix Band

Choose the appropriate band size and curvature based on the tooth anatomy.

Place Matrix Band

Position the sectional matrix band around the prepared tooth, ensuring tight adaptation at the gingival margin.

Insert Wedge

Place a wooden or plastic wedge interproximally to secure the gingival seal and stabilize the matrix band.

Apply Ring

Position the separation ring over the matrix band and wedge to achieve tooth separation and ensure firm band adaptation.

Restore

Perform etching and bonding, then place the composite incrementally and contour as required.

Remove Components

After curing and finishing, carefully remove the ring, wedge, and matrix band.
