The YD Torque Handpiece is built to provide strong and consistent torque, allowing dentists to perform cutting, cavity preparation, crown removal, and finishing procedures with ease. The stable rotational performance ensures precise control even under load, reducing chairside time and improving procedural efficiency.

Equipped with high-quality ceramic bearings, this handpiece offers smoother rotation, reduced vibration, and lower noise levels compared to conventional steel bearing handpieces. Ceramic bearings are highly wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, significantly extending the service life of the handpiece while maintaining consistent performance over time.

Shank material Stainless steel (often including Ni/Cr alloys) Head shape / geometry Many shapes: round, tapered, flame/ogival, inverted cone, ball, needle etc. — selected based on intended procedure (entry, cavity prep, contouring, finishing).
Select the appropriate bur based on the required shape and grit for the procedure. Insert the bur firmly into the handpiece chuck, ensuring proper locking. Operate at recommended RPM (follow handpiece manufacturer's speed guidelines). Use with light, intermittent pressure to avoid overheating and ensure precise cutting. Ensure adequate water spray for cooling during use (high-speed handpieces). After use, remove the bur carefully and dispose of single-use burs immediately.
